Reportable Data

SAFERsleep® System Benefits

Handwritten records are error prone, difficult to read, and creating them can be a distraction from patient care. The SAFERsleep® System electronically collects and charts patient monitor data virtually eliminating errors in recording patient vital signs.

Barcoded syringe labels are scanned just prior to drug administration, automatically creating a record of time, drug, and dose administered, eliminating the need for the anaesthetist to remember and record those details afterwards. In addition to the proven safety benefits, clinical studies have shown using the SAFERsleep® System has resulted in an increase in drug administration recordings by 21.7% over handwritten records.

Barcode accuracy
Intuitive usability
Seamless integration

The SAFERsleep® System works with Patient Information Management systems allowing patient information move between systems and to more easily follow the patient through your facility.

The SAFERsleep® System’s user-created procedure templates minimise anaesthetic preparation time, reducing the anaesthetic record burden even on the shortest procedures. The easy to read and comprehensive SAFERsleep® System displayed and printed anaesthetic charts enhance transfer of care both in the Operating Room and between the various perioperative phases of surgery.

Patient vital signs, administered drugs, input and output fluid volumes, and anaesthetic events are all chronologically linked in every SAFERsleep® anaesthetic record. Each and every anaesthetic record is centrally stored and maintained in a fully HIPAA compliant database accessible on any SAFERsleep® Workstation to every authenticated user. Additionally, this wealth of anaesthetic data is fully reportable allowing authorised personnel the benefits of both medical and business research and analysis.
