The SAFERsleep System provides anesthesia professionals with a drug identification cross-check, which is made before drug administration.
With a simple swipe of the syringe barcode, the system produces an auditory and visual confirmation of the scanned drug. On screen, the name and color class of the drug are displayed as the drug name is spoken.
Barcode accuracy
The SAFERsleep System provides an easy method for accurately capturing drug data by barcode.
A straightforward swipe of the syringe barcode places minimal ergonomic burden on the anesthesia professional. Rapid, accurate capture of drug administration time and drug name is achieved.
Informative labels
The research-based SAFERsleep LABEL is clear, easy to read and easy to record. Label design includes international drug class colors, prominent display of drug class, prominent display of drug name and barcode for system identification.
When scanned, this label barcode enables the SAFERsleep System to provide a safety drug identification cross-check, while recording drug data: time, name and dose.
Workspace organization
The SAFERsleep System provides a range of standardized, research-based workspace organization tools designed to enhance safety and increase practice consistency.
These tools compliment the SAFERsleep System’s automated safety features and include:
