Safer Sleep LLC, together with its wholly owned Safer Sleep Ltd subsidiary, (“Safer Sleep”) has provided peri-operative safety solutions to the healthcare industry in New Zealand since 1999.
Ninety five (95) SAFERsleep® System-equipped operating rooms (“ORs”) are in service. Safer Sleep’s products have been proven in the field; over 1,000,000 anaesthetics to date have been managed using the SAFERsleep® System solution.
The System is installed in public and private hospitals in New Zealand and has been used clinically since 2000.
In 2008 the Company installed six systems into two sites in the United Kingdom. The sites, Papworth and Wrexham Hospitals were participating in a national trial into anaesthesia drug safety practices. Papworth Hospital. a leading cardiothoracic hospital purchased the SAFERsleep System in 2009.
